A photographic night scene focused on an astronomy workshop setup in a sheltered Vercors meadow, designed for learning and experimentation. Several different telescopes, from small beginner reflectors to a larger astrograph on a computerized mount, are neatly aligned on level ground. Nearby, a sturdy folding table holds a laptop with a dim red filter, printed star charts, and camera adapters, all faintly illuminated by discrete red LED strips to preserve night vision. The surrounding landscape reveals dark tree lines and the silhouettes of Vercors plateaus under a pristine sky sprinkled with stars. Soft, low-intensity lighting creates gentle reflections on metal surfaces while keeping the Milky Way clearly visible overhead. Captured at eye level with moderate depth of field, the mood is studious, organized, and reassuringly professional.

A bright daytime photographic scene illustrating a guided astronomy-themed hike in the Vercors, without any people present. A narrow mountain trail winds along a grassy ridge dotted with wildflowers, leading toward iconic cliffs and a broad valley below. On a natural rock outcrop near the path, a neatly arranged set of gear—binoculars, a star map, a compact spotting scope, and a small field notebook—suggests educational stops along the way. Soft late-afternoon sunlight warms the limestone and enhances the greens of the pastures, casting gentle, elongated shadows that hint at the coming night. Shot from a slightly elevated, three-quarter angle using the rule of thirds, the composition feels open, inviting, and professional, showing how day hikes transition naturally into evening observations.

Les astro-guides

A panoramic photographic scene of a multi-day astronomy trek bivouac in the Vercors, with lightweight tents clustered on an alpine meadow bordered by dark pine trees and distant limestone ridges. Outside the tents, compact travel telescopes, star charts, and insulated sleeping bags are neatly arranged, suggesting an organized, guided experience. The night sky above is rich with stars, a bright planet near the horizon, and the gentle smear of the Milky Way crossing overhead. Subtle warm light spills from tent entrances, while the rest of the landscape is bathed in cool starlight, creating a balanced, calm contrast. Captured from a slightly elevated angle with wide-angle framing, the image emphasizes the remoteness, adventure, and comfort of a multi-night astronomy stay in pristine mountain darkness.
